While in prayer in the sanctuary of a church in February of 2007, the thought occurred to me to prayerfully seek a potential location for a national prayer mountain in Canada among the foothills of Alberta.

Why the foothills, specifically? Well, God called me to minister in Alberta, and that just makes it obvious to look at the geography of this Province. However, there are other, less supernatural, reasons as well...

The Rockies leave a very strong impression on the hearts and minds of many, if not all, Canadians. The foothills are one of those special areas in Canada where there is a chance to see two (or even three) great geographical zones come together. Therefore, a person praying in such a location is often reminded, quite easily, of the whole nation, in ways that might not otherwise always happen. 

I hope you enjoy the following pages. We’re certainly having a very meaningful time climbing the various slopes of this blessed Province.

May God glorify the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and grant us the grace to establish a national prayer mountain, through the revelation and leading of His Holy Spirit...
